Programs Manager

Position Overview
The Program Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational success of our creative enrichment programs, including initially, but not limited to, our Mental Health Subsidy, Biking Program, Ambassador Program and Studio Enrichment initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, a passion for human flourishing, and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. The Program Manager will ensure that all programs run smoothly, achieve desired outcomes, fit well under the Trilith purpose, and meet budgetary constraints and timeline expectations.


The Programs Manager is expected to work collaboratively, pay attention to detail, work with a servant mindset, and meet deadlines. This individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills along with organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

This position is for a full-time staff member of the Trilith Foundation team. He/she will work under the leadership of the Trilith Foundation Programs & Resources Director, and in partnership with other Trilith Foundation Program Leads and Coordinators.


This role will be leading people and expected to balance the leadership and development of others along with the execution of tasks and programs.


The Trilith Foundation is continuing to develop new programs, so the person that fills this role should be adaptable to bring on new programs and roll off others onto new roles as they come.


Key Responsibilities


Program Oversight:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of the current and developing programs: Mental Health Subsidy, Biking Program, Ambassador Program and Studio Enrichment.
  • Aid the Program Director and Startup Consultants in developing and implementing new programs that align with the foundation's mission as opportunities arise.


Resource Management:

  • Manage personnel, ensuring that staff and volunteers are effectively deployed to support program activities.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to optimize program delivery and impact.
  • Develop the skills and knowledge of staff reporting under this role to ensure growth and alignment with the future of the Trilith Foundation.


Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets for each program, ensuring financial sustainability and adherence to funding allocated yearly.
  • Monitor expenditures and provide regular financial reports to Programs & Resources Director and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Find ways to involve donors and long-term sustainability of programs with the hope of a three-year sustainability plan where possible (Year 1: funded via budget requests, Year 2: net neutral, Year 3: net positive where possible).


Timeline and Reporting:

  • Establish and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness, providing regular updates and reports to leadership.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and external stakeholders to promote program participation and support.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications Team and other Trilith Entity teams to ensure promotion and alignment of programs for maximum effectiveness and engagement.
  • Foster a positive, psychologically and physically safe and inclusive environment for all participants and contributors.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Solicit feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and enhance program offerings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to keep the programs innovative and impactful.

 

Includes people leadership of the Trilith Experience Bike Coordinator, Studio Enrichment Coordinator and Ambassador Coordinator.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, preferably in the nonprofit or creative sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and volunteers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects or programs simultaneously.
  • Proficient in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Passion for supporting creatives and enhancing their well-being through innovative programs.
