Bike Coordinator

The Trilith Foundation Bike Coordinator is responsible for the execution of the smooth operations of the Trilith Bike Experience and development and execution of new and existing Bike Programs the greater Trilith area.

 

The Bike Coordinator is expected to work collaboratively, pay attention to detail, work with a servant mindset, and meet deadlines. This individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

 

The purpose of Trilith is to set the stage and enrich the lives of Storymakers who inspire the world, and the Trilith Foundation exists within Trilith to enrich the lives of creatives that inspire the world. This role will serve to execute tasks that support the Programs & Resources Director and Programs Manager in both establishing and running programs that support the mission related to mobility.

 

This is an employee position and is supported by the Trilith Foundation. It will work under the leadership of the Programs Manager, and in partnership with other Trilith Foundation Program Leads and Coordinators. This is an in-person, 20-28 hours/week role.

 

Bike Coordinator Responsibilities

The program coordination includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate the guest booking, guide scheduling, safety pre-checks and post-checks and other elements of the Trilith Bike Experience in order to operate it smoothly
  • Setup of bikes and equipment to be ready for tours
  • Communication
  • Scheduling
  • Onsite guest services
  • Bike light maintenance (ABCs) and coordination of heavier maintenance with local bike shop through maintenance plan
  • Developing new Bike Programming to encourage mobility and biking culture
  • Manage calendar of activations for biking
  • Manage bike education class schedules and communication
  • Manage bike borrowing program when it is stood up
  • Maintain clean and organized bike hub, including restroom, freshen up kits, etc.
  • Plan and lead Demo Days such as “How to fix a flat,” “Biking 101,” and “Rules of the Road”
  • Coordinating with the Marketing & Communications team to promote programs and resources
  • Completing safety checks for StoryGuide certification to lead bike tours
  • Be present in the Bike Hub 4-5 days a week (Tuesday through Saturday) for set hours (~5-6 hours/day) to manage tours, education, bike borrowing/renting, programs, etc.
  • Manage certification and booking of Story Guides for bike tours and other developing programs
  • Clearly report on expenses and revenue for programs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years’ experience in coordination of programs or projects
  • Extensive knowledge and skill of biking
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be the face and voice of the Trilith Foundation in the biking hub
  • Multitasker and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and ability to learn other related booking software
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure safety
  • Follow up and follow through


Advantages:
